Jon Lee

Personality-wise Jon can be quite a character. Growing up he's been through some pretty rough stuff, and after his mother passed away everything went downwards of some sort. This results in a quite pessimistic perspective on life, and everything it brings him. It doesn't mean will be all angry, but he will always have this sarcastic tone when he's talking. You could say he tries to bring some dark humor into this absurdly unfair lifestyle his family has brought him into.
Once you've become a mate of Jon's, however, he tends to be very territorial - if you are very close to him. But that means he is also incredibly loyal, and sometimes he might even turn a blind eye on reality. Which might be an advantage for this friend, but with its downsides.
Jon is also very impulsive, and slightly aggressive, especially under the devilish spell of alcoholic beverages. He won't be able to tell what's right and wrong, which often brings him in quite some troubles.

With all these strong sides of Jon, of course he has some weaknesses in a form of hopelessness. Even though he's loyal to his friends, he tends to give up whenever he fails in his passions. No doubt is there about his creative mind, but still he never feels he's good enough. Nor does it help, that he's been let down numerous times, whether it was family abandoning him, awful auditions, and of course his arrests for tiny insignificant things (in his opinion, ofc).

While all these odds are against him, he still, however, tries to pep it up with humorous comments, a smile, and of course he's not angry and sad all the time. Not at all, actually. Unless it's one of those days, but everyone can have those.

JON'S CHILDHOOD would not in anyway be described as idyllic and perfect. It's rather the opposite. In a very young age his mother passed away, left him with his father who took off in favour of something Jon never really understood. This left him with his oldest brother, Jiāháo also known as Jared. The relationship between Jon and his brother was not as good as you'd have wanted it to be, when it's the only family you have left. Actually, while Jared was busy establishing a new family on his own at his girlfriend's, Jon was left in a small, rotten apartment in Sydney. From a young age Jon had to take care of himself such as buying groceries, cleaning, cooking, all that without a job because he was underaged. When the time came, and the bills for the small, rotten apartment wasn't paid anymore, Jon was thrown on the streets.

15 YEARS OLD, no parents, and a brother whose life Jon never would be part of anymore, no family in the country at all. He was all alone on the streets, with a limited amount of belongings, and the only good memories of family was of his mother. For a couple of weeks he survived by living on school property, stealing a couple of things from the cafeteria, and finding food in the trash. He didn't have many friends either, nor did he have any electronic devices of any kind.
Jon eventually made a few acquaintances thanks to his charm and social skills, which temporarily gave him a sloppy home much like the apartment he used to live in as a kid. He gained more acquaintances, even a couple of mates, and suddenly had a reputation in the social circle of fellow homeless youngsters in the East Coast of Australia. Mainly in New South Wales. Suddenly he had places to crash, learned more about himself, his creative sides, and the people around him. Learning that having money doesn't necessarily have to be a must to survive. Sure it would be nice, but he has never experienced having much.

AS JON'S MOTHER, Jon had an incredibly creative soul. Since he was a very young boy, his mother taught him the basics of ballet. A natural he was, but he only took a few classes before the bullying started in school. He quit, and just did it for his mother's and his own enjoyment at home. Never would he show his motor skills, and dancing abilities to the real world anymore - as that's what he thought. Living on the street he did, however get more into dance, but with freestyle b-boying, krumping, robot, pop/lock, all kinds of hip hop styles. As a mate or acquaintance, ballet was never something you'd ever imagine him do.

GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL was, however, something Jon never got to do. Before he became a senior in high school he was arrested for shoplifting and assault towards an overdramatic (in Jon's opinion) worker at a gas station. With only his brother as an emergency contact, he ended up on probation for a while, and an opportunity to actually do something with his life. His brother is not a bad guy, and he is well-aware what position he put Jon in when he was younger. Therefore he figured a way to give Jon a new start, and a good opportunity to embrace his natural talent for ballet, Jared knew Jon had. With a couple of good contacts, including the name of their mother, Jon was given a chance to audition for the National Academy of Performing Arts, placed in Sydney. Unfortunately the damage was already done years back when Jared abandoned him in favor of a family without him, and Jon had no trust in his own brother anymore. Besides, he had no interest in being somebody's charity case, what-so-ever. Completely destroying his chance of getting into the National Academy of Performing Arts, he was sent to his Canadian cousin to stay for a while, since the brother would not allow him to continue living the way he did, nor did he wish to let Jon stay at his place with wife and children.
